MacKenzie Gore Over 7.5 Strikeouts
We’re backing the Nationals ace MacKenzie Gore to go over his strikeout line — even with a negative correlation to a Mariners victory.
Gore has been pretty solid this season despite his 2-5 record. He’s posting a 3.40 ERA with an impressive 93 strikeouts.
On Thursday, we like him to continue racking up the strikeouts, this time against the Mariners.
He’s covered this line in two straight games and in three of his last four. He’s had nine strikeouts in back-to-back starts.
His pitch arsenal has been strong, and that should continue against a team that goes through cold stretches.
The Mariners are coming off a 9-0 loss, so if the bats don’t heat up, Gore can surely cruise.
