Bucks vs Bulls NBA Preview

Chicago and Milwaukee would both miss the play-in tournament if the season ended today, with the Bucks up to 11th and the Bulls down to 12th in the Eastern Conference standings.

Milwaukee sits 2.5 games behind both the Hornets and Hawks, who are tied at 9th and 10th in the conference, respectively — still giving the Bucks a shot at postseason basketball.

Meanwhile, Chicago is free-falling out of postseason contention and into the lottery at 5.5 games behind the play-in teams.

The injuries of note for today's game between the Bucks and Bulls are as follows.

Most notably, Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) will remain out for Milwaukee, as well as Taurean Prince (neck).

For the Bulls, it's much more extensive.

Anfernee Simons (wrist), Jaden Ivey (knee), Patrick Williams (quad), Jalen Smith (calf), Zach Collins (toe), and Noa Essengue (shoulder) are all out for today's game.

Bucks vs Bulls Predictions, Betting Analysis

Bobby Portis has gone over 10.5 points in 7-of-12 games since Antetokounmpo's injury — but going back further, he has beaten this number in 14-of-19 games.

In those 14 overs, Portis got up to 15 or more points on seven occasions, making a sprinkle on 15 or more points at +200 worth it to me as well.

The Bulls allow the second-worst three-point percentage, the fourth-most points in the paint, the 11th-most threes per 100 possessions, and they are currently 25th in defense.

Portis has a favorable matchup on all fronts here.

Not to mention, he also finished with 17 points and 11 boards against the Bulls back on December 27.

Pick: Bobby Portis Over 10.5 Points (-120) / Bobby Portis 15+ Points (+200)
