Nuggets vs Pacers NBA Preview
I'm going with the over in this matchup, with a line of 235.5 at DraftKings.
Somehow, I seem to find myself needing the Pacers to score points every other time, which is not a comfortable place to be.
However, I continue to do it, and this is why. In the last five games, the Nuggets are absolutely dead last in the NBA in defense. They just don't do it – the effort isn't there.
I don't know what's going on with Denver on that side of the rock. They've lost five games in a row at home. They're coming off a bad loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
Now they get an opportunity to play the Pacers in their building. In Indiana's last five home games, its offensive rating has been at least middle-of-the-league. They have had some offensive success on their home court.
I think the way Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and the Nuggets will respond is just more offense. More, more, more ways to put the ball in the hoop. They're going to need some time to figure out the defensive side.
