NBA Parlay for Pistons vs Knicks

Cade Cunningham 30+ Points & Assists

Cade Cunningham has developed a bit of a reputation for being a slow starter. However, he is still averaging 21.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and eight assists per game while leading the Pistons to a 3-0 start. He has recorded 30 points and assists combined in two of his first three games, with exactly eight assists in each of his first three games.

Cunningham may exceed those numbers tonight as the Knicks are a team he generally looks forward to playing against. In his last 12 games against the Knicks, Cunningham is averaging 27.8 points and 9.3 assists per game on 49/37/82 shooting splits. He has recorded seven double-doubles in that span, including one triple-double.

Cunningham has scored 30 points in three of his last five games in Madison Square Garden, where tonight's game will take place. I look for him to show up under the bright lights again.

Pick: Cade Cunningham 30+ Points & Assists

Duncan Robinson 12+ Points

Duncan Robinson has averaged 12 points per game in two of the last three years, including 12.2 in his first season in Detroit.

Long one of the game's best long-range snipers, Robinson averages 7.1 3-point attempts per game while shooting 40% for his career. He has been particularly hot to begin this season with five 3s in each of his first three games, shooting 53.6% from 3.

That has helped Robinson score at least 17 points in each of his first three games, including 21 points against the Celtics and 76ers. The Pistons have needed a bit more from him over basically the last two games as Jalen Duren went down in the second quarter against the Heat. His matchup tonight lines up for him to stay hot.

The Knicks are 20th in 3-point attempts to begin this season while ranking 27th in 3-pointers allowed to shooting guards.

Robinson averaged 2.9 3s per game over his last eight games against the Knicks, with three each in his last two games against them.

If he stays hot tonight, he may knock down four 3s or more, leading to another game over 15 points.

Pick: Duncan Robinson 12+ Points

Detroit Pistons +4.5

In the 2025 playoffs, the Pistons and Knicks matched up in the first round and delivered an intense, thrilling six-game series. The Knicks won in six games, eliminating the Pistons on their home floor en route to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Last season, each team progressed as the Pistons advanced to the second round and the Knicks made the Finals and won their first championship in 54 years.

The Pistons were one game away from matching up with the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals last spring. We will never know how that matchup would have turned out because even though the Knicks were playing better in the playoffs, the Pistons have put a target on them since that first-round series.

The Pistons swept the regular season series last season and have won the last six regular season meetings, twice as a favorite and four outright as an underdog.

The Pistons are underdogs again tonight despite being 3-0 straight up and against the spread and the Knicks 0-3 straight up and ATS. Maybe both of those trends come to an end tonight as the Pistons will be without Duren and potentially Ausar Thompson as well.

However, neither was available on Sunday when the Pistons won in Philadelphia. The Pistons also have a +12.4 net rating to begin this season while the Knicks have a -7.2 net rating. That should at least translate to the Pistons covering and another outright victory would not surprise me.

Pick: Pistons +4.5

NBA Parlay for Trail Blazers vs Lakers

Header First Logo

Luka Doncic 30+ Points

Luka Doncic has averaged 30 points per game in three of the last four years and is at 29.3 per game for his career. However, he only scored 28 and 23 points in the first two games this season.

He quickly remedied that on Sunday as he went for 52 points and added eight rebounds and 10 assists for good measure. It was the 10th 50-point game of his career and he became the first Lakers player in franchise history to have a game with 50 points, five rebounds, 10 assists, and five 3s.

Doncic is once again the league's leading scorer at 34.3 points per game. Doncic is a threat to score 30 points every game, particularly when his jumper is falling and/or he is getting to the free-throw line.

It has been a couple of years since he has played against Portland, but he has scored 30 points in four of his last five games against them. He has averaged 35.2 points in that span and scored 40 twice.

Pick: Luka Doncic 30+ Points

Damian Lillard 20+ Points

When we last saw Damian Lillard, he tore his Achilles in Game 4 of the Bucks' first-round series against the Pacers.

The Bucks went out in a whimper in five games and then waived Lillard in the offseason. That set the stage for Lillard to return to Portland, where he is both beloved and the franchise's all-time leading scorer.

However, the Trail Blazers did not stop acquiring guards since bringing Lillard back. Over the last two years, they have added Jrue Holiday -who Lillard was traded for originally- and Ja Morant while already having Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe.

The fit is clunky, but Lillard and Morant are both starting together for the time being.

Meanwhile, Lillard has not shown many signs of rust, scoring 25 and 19 points in his first two games. He is shooting 46.7% from the field and 40% from 3 while knocking down eight triples thus far.

Lillard has also averaged 28.4 points per game against the Lakers in his career. He typically scores at least 20 against them, including the final three when he was with Milwaukee.

Pick: Damian Lillard 20+ Points

Ja Morant Over 6.5 Assists

In his first two games with Portland, Morant has played about 25 minutes a night and had a 20% usage rate. He had eight assists in a blowout of the Suns and seven assists in the victory over the Kings. He has recorded 15 assists on 23 potential assist opportunities through two games.

Lillard does not need Morant to set him up too often; Morant has one assist to him thus far.

Portland has quietly assembled a vast amount of scorers for him to pass to: Lillard, All-Star Deni Avdija, Holiday, Henderson (questionable), Toumani Camara, and Donovan Clingan.

Additionally, Morant has averaged 7.7 assists in his last games against the Lakers while still in Memphis. He has recorded seven assists in four of those games. A plus-money price for his assists in a game with a total north of 230 gives us a solid final leg for this parlay.

Pick: Ja Morant Over 6.5 Assists
