Nets vs. Celtics
By Joe Dellera
This matchup against the Nets sets up really nicely for Payton Pritchard. Brooklyn is currently getting decimated by above-the-break three-pointers, which happens to be the exact area of the floor where Pritchard thrives.
On top of that, there is lots of upside regarding his overall volume and minutes due to this specific scheduling spot. Boston is playing on a back-to-back, and Pritchard has a proven track record of being excellent for the Celtics in these exact situations.
If the coaching staff decides to proactively manage workloads, Jayson Tatum and Paul George are the obvious candidates to have their minutes trimmed first.
I actually think there is a strong possibility that Paul George sits this game out entirely, which would naturally trigger a significant usage bump for Pritchard.
I'll back Pritchard to score over 16.5 points tonight.
Pick: Payton Pritchard Over 16.5 Points (-110)Â

Pistons vs. Knicks
John Collins is essentially the reason the Pistons aren't completely dead in the water without Jalen Duren right now.
While Tobias Harris is undeniably a solid NBA player, Collins' specific skill set just makes far more sense for the construction of this current roster—much like Harris will make more sense in San Antonio once he finally suits up for the Spurs.
What Collins brings to the table is vital for Detroit: he gives them much-needed three-point volume, reliable rim finishing, strong rebounding, and overall verticality.
Paul Reed is obviously soaking up a lot more run with Duren sidelined, but it feels like the betting markets have already caught up to his increased role.
Meanwhile, Collins continues to be underrated by the sportsbooks. Just look at the raw production from their last game in Philly without Duren; Collins stepped up and delivered a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 7-of-15 from the floor. Now, he gets a favorable matchup on the glass.
The Knicks are navigating life without Mitchell Robinson, and while their defense ranks ninth in an admittedly tiny sample size, their offense has been abysmal, sitting dead last in the league.
All of those missed New York shots are going to translate into plenty of rebounding opportunities for Collins tonight. I expect him to have a huge night on the glass, and it wouldn't shock me at all if he leads the team in boards again after beating out Reed, who finished with eight in their previous outing.
Pick: John Collins Over 21.5 Points & Rebounds (-105)Â

Kings vs. Spurs
The Kings are letting Darius Acuff cook right from the start, and the sheer offensive volume he is seeing right out of the gate is staggering for a rookie.
Through the first three games of his career, Acuff is logging around 36 minutes per night and averaging 22.3 points per game. While his shooting efficiency leaves a lot to be desired—he is currently shooting just 32.9 percent from the field and 14.8 percent from beyond the arc—the raw shot volume makes this over still a good play.
Acuff has hoisted up 24, 26, and 23 field goal attempts respectively in his first three outings. Even with poor shooting metrics, any NBA player seeing 23-plus shot attempts and heavy minutes is mathematically poised to clear a 20.5-point threshold on volume alone.
Acuff is already proving he can get there, coming off strong performances where he dropped 22 points against the Grizzlies and exploded for 33 points against the Trail Blazers.
Now, he faces a San Antonio Spurs defense that is relatively middle-of-the-pack, sitting 12th in Defensive Rating (109.9) and allowing 112.0 points per game.
With the Kings clearly funneling the offense through their rookie regardless of his typical growing pains, the betting market simply has not caught up to his massive usage rate.
Our Action Network PRO Projections are screaming value here, projecting Acuff to score 23.73 points tonight. That gives us a 22.8% edge against the current 20.5 line.
As long as Sacramento continues to let him aggressively hunt his own shot like the first few games, this number is too low. We'll take the over.
Pick: Darius Acuff Over 20.5 Points (-120)Â

Trail Blazers vs. Lakers
Ziaire Williams has carved out a solid rotational role for the Lakers early in the 2026-27 campaign, averaging a healthy 28.3 minutes on the floor across his first three outings.
While his rebounding numbers might not jump off the page at first glance, the sheer volume of his playing time provides a high floor for a line set this low.
Through his first three games of the season, Williams has tallied three, five, and two rebounds, respectively, establishing a season average of 3.3 boards per contest.
Tonight, the Lakers face a Portland squad that is playing at a moderate pace of 100.1 possessions per game but boasts a highly efficient offense.
Even if there are slightly fewer missed shots to corral due to Portland's 125.9 offensive rating, Williams is logging the necessary minutes—having played 30 and 31 minutes in his last two games—to easily find his way to three rebounds through natural game flow.
The math supports this play, as our Action Network PRO Projections expect Williams to secure 4.03 rebounds in this matchup. That stark contrast between the model's 4.03 projection and the current betting line of 2.5 creates a substantial 20.1% edge in the market.
Trust the robust minutes floor and the edge identified by Action PRO. We'll back Williams to record over 2.5 rebounds tonight.
Pick: Ziaire Williams Over 2.5 Rebounds (-130)Â
