Lakers vs. Celtics
By Kyle Murray
Knecht projects quite well here, as I am currently projecting LeBron James and Luka Doncic to miss this game.
The last time we saw both of those players sit, Knecht played 23 minutes and scored 8 points.
He did barely clear this number, but if Knecht is going to play 20+ minutes with solid usage, he will project well again here.
I have him slated for 12 points against the Thunder tonight.
Pick: Dalton Knecht Over 7.5 Points (-120)
Suns vs. Rockets
This is mostly a playing-time fade.
Mark Williams is available, which means Ighodaro and Nick Richards will fight for backup center minutes.
Ighodaro has had the edge lately, but he might lose the battle tonight.
Houston's immense size would seem to fit Richards' game a bit better.
We actually saw that play out a couple of weeks back, with Richards drawing a start against the Rockets on November 24. Williams was sidelined that night.
If Ighodaro ends up third in the pecking order, the playing-time floor is low.
There's a decent chance for garbage time with the Suns being double-digit underdogs.
Those meaningless 4th-quarter minutes might not go to Ighodaro though.
Phoenix has rookies Khaman Maluach and Rasheer Fleming on hand to pick up the scraps in a blowout.
Pick: Oso Ighodaro Under 10.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
Mavericks vs. Thunder
By Joe Dellera
The Thunder face off against the Mavericks tonight, and I'll target Jalen Williams as he continues to ramp up in his return.
The Mavericks allow the most rebounds per game to their opponents.
Plus, J-Dub has been very consistent with assists so far this season, with totals of eight, five, and six on 11.3 potentials per game.
I like the idea of the combo prop here since Williams has not truly popped off as a rebounder yet, but he did average 5.7 last season.
Pick: Jalen Williams Over 9.5 Rebounds + Assists (-120)
Pacers vs. Bulls
By Kyle Murray
Love this spot for White, as I am expecting this to be a competitive game that has a ton of pace.
The Bulls rank 2nd in my model in expected pace, while the Pacers sit at 10th.
The Pacers also set up as a great matchup for White, as they have allowed the 7th-most points per game to guards, and the most free throw attempts per game.
Pick: Coby White Over 28.5 Points + Assists (-115)
Spurs vs. Cavaliers
By Joe Dellera
The Cavaliers face off against the Spurs tonight in a matchup where both teams are dealing with injuries.
Cleveland will be without both Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen, while the Spurs continue to be without Victor Wembanyama.
I expect the nature of the injury report to open up more opportunities for Evan Mobley in particular.
Mobley naturally sees a bit of a bump without Garland and Allen, which is amplified by the lack of Wemby.
He’s involved more, not only as a scorer, but also as a facilitator.
Considering the scoring remains strong without Allen, and there’s been a clear assists bump of late, I like the combo prop.
