The NBA playoffs resume this Wednesday, as two crucial Game 2s take center stage tonight — and our NBA betting expert Brandon Anderson has identified a +478 same game parlay showing significant value in today's matchup between the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers.

Let's get into the breakdown of his NBA same game parlay for Knicks vs. 76ers Game 2 on Wednesday, May 6.

This is a quintessential "bet the narrative" spot. In the NFL, one of my favorite looks is when I expect a team to start well early but simply not have the depth or health to win the game.

We don't always see a traditional "Halftime/Full-Time" market posted for every NBA game, but you can build this exact script yourself at FanDuel as a Same Game Parlay.

The bet is simple: Sixers First Half Moneyline / Knicks Full-Time Moneyline (+478).

The 76ers played about as poorly as they possibly could in Game 1. They got their teeth kicked in. But the current line seems like a bit of an overreaction to the huge performance by New York.

We have to expect a professional counterpunch from the Sixers here. They are going to come out with pride, they are going to adjust the scheme, and I expect them to lead at the break. But—and this is the key—I only expect that surge to last for twenty-four minutes.

The problem for Philadelphia is that the structural issues we talked about before the series didn't just magically go away because they had a film session. The rest disadvantage is still there. The health disadvantage with Joel Embiid is still there — or, "not there" in this case. He is out tonight.

Coming off a grueling seven-game series against Boston, that fatigue factor is real. The Sixers still only have one day of rest between these games, and then they have to do it all over again.

I honestly think we were a little bit lucky to hit some of our second-half Knicks bets in Game 1 because a blowout isn't usually the ideal script for those.

I like the second half much better today if the Sixers are actually leading at halftime. Why? Because the Knicks are the number one second-half team in the entire league. They have a +13 net rating in the second half this season. They are conditioned, they are deep, and they are clinical when it comes to closing games at the Garden.

If you want to get a little bit more greedy, I’m also looking at a version of this parlay with the New York spread.

Usually, in the NBA playoffs, if a team wins the game, they cover a six- or seven-point spread because of the intentional fouling at the end. If you take Sixers Halftime Moneyline / Knicks -6.5 Cover, that jumps all the way to +1090 at FanDuel.

We are betting on the "fatigue" script. Philly punches early to save face, but they don't have the legs to go 12 rounds. The Knicks’ second-half engine, which has been the best in basketball all year, will eventually grind them down.
