Jazz vs Nets NBA Preview, Prediction
I'm going to take the Nets to cover the spread.
I was already looking at this number at +3.5, and then it moved to +4.5.
No injury report has been submitted here for the Nets on this back-to-back game after playing the Bulls in Chicago, so hopefully, no surprises.
Now, this is why I lean the Nets. Maybe it's recency bias, and what I just watched them do to Chicago, but the Bulls are similar to the Jazz offensively in that they want to get out and run a high-paced style of offense.
The Nets are the exact opposite: they seem to get squads sometimes to play in their favor and slow it down.
The Bulls only scored 44 points in the first half last night against Brooklyn.
That's not going to get it done. And that's all because head coach Jordi Fernandez and the Nets have guys playing their style: grind it out, slow basketball.
That's what Utah wants to do, and it's a lot tougher to bend Brooklyn to your will than a lot of folks realize.
