2021 College Basketball National Title Odds: Usual Suspects Favored

We may not have gotten a college basketball national champion this year, but William Hill already has odds posted for next season.

The top of the board looks similar to how it did entering this year's tournament — Kentucky, Duke, Kansas and Gonzaga are the favorites at 10-1.

Virginia, which will get Marquette transfer Sam Hauser eligible next season, is next at 12-1. The Cavaliers are followed by Baylor, Michigan State, Villanova and Creighton, who are all at 20-1 or better.

College basketball national title futures this far in advance can be a strange beast.

With NBA Draft defections and complete recruiting classes still unknown, things can change a lot in the next few months. Last year, Virginia opened as the favorite at 7-1 for 2020 following its national title, but lost several key players to the draft and fell to 25-1 before the season.
