The hype just might be real with Colorado. The Buffaloes won their home opener against the Nebraska Cornhuskers Saturday to move to 2-0. It's quite the outcome considering the Buffaloes opened as 7.5-point dogs against the Cornhuskers before the lines shifted last week.

Deion Sanders' team will face face their in-state rival Colorado State Rams in Week 3, and the Colorado Week 2 odds against Colorado State have shifted significantly, with Colorado currently listed as 21-point favorites against Colorado State at DraftKings.

Prior to Saturday's win, the Buffaloes were initially 17-point at DraftKings prior to their huge win against Nebraska. In Week 2 it was the defense, not the offense that made an impression. The Buffaloes held Nebraska to just 14 points on the afternoon.

The offense still put on a show. Shedeur Sanders threw for 393 and two touchdowns and wide receiver Xavier Weaver made his presence felt with 10 catches, 170 yards and a touchdown across the field from fellow receiver and Heisman hopeful Travis Hunter. Colorado and Colorado State haven't played since 2019; the Buffaloes won 52-31, exactly 21 points.
