The Chicago Bears enter the 2020 NFL Draft with seven picks, but won't make their first selection until Round 2 as their first-round pick went to the Raiders in the Khalil Mack trade. The flip side of that is they'll be on the clock twice over the span of only seven picks in the second round.
There will be another big gap in their selections between Rounds 2 and 5 as they don't have third- or fourth-round picks (both traded away), but then they'll close out the draft by making five of their seven picks over the span of 70 on Day 3.
Here's a quick breakdown of the Bears' overall draft profile:
- Total number of 2020 picks: 7
- Number of 2020 picks traded away: 3
- Number of 2020 picks acquired via trade: 3
- Number of 2020 compensatory picks: 0
