Kenneth Walker, Dameon Pierce Trending Up in Rookie of the Year Odds After Breece Hall Injury

Rookie of the Year odds in the NFL betting market fluctuated after Jets running back and award favorite Breece Hall suffered a torn ACL Sunday.
Hall, a second-round pick out of Iowa State, was second in both public bet count and total handle for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year at PointsBet Sportsbook.

The new front-runner for Offensive Rookie of the Year at PointsBet — and virtually across the futures odds board — is Kenneth Walker.
The Seahawks running back is +250 across the ROY futures board but peaks at +150 at PB. An explosion Sunday versus the Chargers certainly helped: Walker went off for 168 rushing yards and two scores.
Walker and the Seahawks are three-point home favorites against the Giants in Week 8.
Dameon Pierce, meanwhile, is barely behind his Seattle counterpart, with no contrast in pricing — every single sportsbook lists the rookie back at +300 entering the week.
The Florida Gators product has received a steady diet of touches in the Texans' backfield all season. He's picked up steam as the season's progressed, posting at least 80 rushing yards in four straight games.
Pierce and the Texans are three-point underdogs versus the Titans this upcoming Sunday.
Other notable NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year candidates are Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (consensus price of +800), Falcons wideout Drake London (+1100) and Steelers receiver George Pickens (+1500).
