  • Pros are moving the Packers vs. 49ers spread in the final hours leading up to the NFC Championship Game.
  • Find out how they're betting the line and how much it has impacted the market.

Throughout the week, we had not tracked one Bet Signal on either of Sunday's spreads. While we saw line movement for both, there were no individual waves of sharp activity that led to widespread market movement.

That all changed this afternoon, when pros struck the Packers-49ers spread while the AFC Championship Game was nearing the end of the first quarter.

Packers at 49ers Sharp Betting Report

After opening at +7, I'm sure nobody would've been surprised if sharps were taking a chance on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers at such a key number. However, the line slowly rose up to 7.5 as the week rolled on.

Often times we see dogs of +7.5 get hit hard by sharps given its importance in the world of NFL betting (seven is the second most important number behind three).

With that said, I'm sure many folks are expecting this late sharp action to be on the Packers plus the hook… nope!

On Sunday morning, we started to see some sportsbooks move the line up to -8. Finally, on late Sunday afternoon, the first Steam Move on the spread came in on the 49ers at -7.5. All of the -7.5s are essentially gone, as the market has shifted to -8.

At this point, some pre-kickoff Packers buyback is more likely than ever, but eight is not exactly a key number. If they liked the Packers, they probably would have already hit them at +7.5. It's quite possible sharps are content with their Niners tickets.
