The Highlights

  • The Golden Knights have been unstoppable at home all season long.
  • The total dropped from 6 to 5.5. Now is the time to pounce on the number, along with Vegas' team total.

Brothers it's rare that we find two plays on the same game. It almost never happens. Today, not only do we have two plays, but we have the rarest of all birds, the Triple Play. Where might we find such incredible value? Las Vegas, of course. Our Golden Knights are in action, and I love everything about this game. All sides of it are fantastic and we are going to pounce.

Side

You already know I'm taking the Golden Knights; now let's talk about why. First, they are back at home for the first time in this series. As impressive as the Winnipeg crowd is, the Vegas crowd is its equal and it will show tonight. The Golden Knights have been unstoppable at home all season long, and their fans are a huge reason why. I also think we saw Gerard Gallant's Game 2 adjustments materialize. He started Tomas Tatar, who finally contributed with the first goal of the game. He adds more speed to the lineup, which the Knights need to hang with Winnipeg. Vegas got the big win in Game 2 and now has home ice; I don't see the Knights giving it back this quickly. I think they come out fast and furious tonight looking to make a statement at home the way Winnipeg did in Game 1.

The Pick: Vegas ML -140

Total

We've seen six and four goals scored in this series' first two games. That has led to the total being dropped from 6 to 5.5 in Game 3. Now is the time to pounce on the number. We haven't seen Vegas' best offensive game yet. We all know what the Knights can do when they are firing on all cylinders, which tends to happen at home more often than it does on the road. Winnipeg is also no slouch offensively and can score fairly easily, even against the wall known as Marc-Andre Fleury. I think Vegas puts together its best game of the series so far, and we see a spike in scoring this evening in the desert.

THE PICK: Over 5.5 (-115)

Team Total

If I'm on Vegas to win and I'm on the over 5.5, it would only make sense that I also like the team total of over 2.5 for the Golden Knights. I think we see guys such as Jonathan Marchessault, William Karlsson and James Neal find the net tonight. This game is a big one for our guys, and they know it. I think they relish playing in front of this Vegas crowd and look to pounce early and often this evening. Vegas scoring more than twice is a good bet tonight.

THE PICK: Vegas Over 2.5 Goals (-160)
