The Women's World Cup is just a day away, as New Zealand and Norway will clash before Australia and Ireland meet early in the morning of July 21.

Women's soccer is still a somewhat nascent market, especially considering this will be the first Women's World Cup since a host of states have followed New Jersey in legalizing sports betting with regulated operators.

However, we did get the experience of the 2022 World Cup, and there is no shortage of markets ahead of this tournament.

Read on for my World Cup predictions and favorite futures ahead of the 2023 Women's World Cup.

Women's World Cup Predictions

France to Win the World Cup (+1300 via bet365)

With the talent level of this side, led by Herve Renard and his famed tactical flexibility, France should be a shorter favorite to lift the trophy.

If France win their group, they'll avoid the section of the death in the knockout stage that is likely to include Canada, Germany, England and Brazil. They'd be in the other section that could include Australia as a likely quarterfinal after a kind round of 16 matchup.

There is value on the French to qualify for the semifinal at +170, and at the end of the day predicting an international tournament is as much of an art as a science. France's cohesion with Eugenie Le Sommer is solid and on paper they are no worse than England or Germany.

Canada to Win Group B (+200 via bet365)

Once you account for home field advantage, there isn't much of a gap between Australia and Canada. The Matildas have the best player on the pitch with Sam Kerr, but have more success on the international level in recent history and this is a price worth taking.

Sam Kerr to Win the Golden Boot (+1400 via bet365)

Kerr nearly won the Golden Boot in 2019 with five goals. Typically, you need to play at least five fixtures to have a real chance at the award. Given the shaky defenses of Nigeria and Ireland and her overall talent level, I'm comfortable betting this future.

If chalk holds and the Aussies win the group, they'll be highly likely to play five games and could find themselves in a coin flip quarterfinal with France.
