We've reached the semifinal stage at the US Open, and it appears that two very familiar faces will be competing on the sport's biggest stage once again.

At the beginning of the tournament, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic were head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the field — both in terms of the eye test and in terms of the field.

Djokovic was a small tournament favorite at +120 at the beginning, while Alcaraz was +175. After each player has gotten to the semifinal stage, not too much has changed. Djokovic is -125 to win the US Open, with Alcaraz at +115.

The 2021 champion, Daniil Medvedev, who will square off with Alcaraz, is +1100 to lift a second Slam title. Rising American star Ben Shelton, who will meet Djokovic in the semis, is listed at +4200.

According to the oddsmakers it's fairly clear who is going to be squaring off in the final.

In their semifinal matches, Djokovic is a whopping -1600 to beat Shelton and Alcaraz is listed at -360 to beat Medvedev.

Djokovic and Alcaraz have already squared off in the last two Grand Slams. In the French Open semifinals, Djokovic outlasted a cramping Alcaraz in four sets, but the Spaniard got his revenge at Wimbledon, overcoming Djokovic in five sets.

If the oddsmakers are correct, tennis fans are in for yet another must-watch final.
