Sportsbooks Unveil the Ability to Parlay Golf Finishing Positions and Make/Miss Cut Bets for Masters Week article feature image

Sportsbooks have unveiled additional betting features as we enter Masters week.

It's the biggest week of the year for golf betting, and it also kicks off the major season. Consequently, bettors have already taken a liking to parlaying more golf bets.

In the past, the only golf bets that could be parlayed together were the matchups. Outrights could be parlayed with other wagers outside of golf.

As of this week, FanDuel and PointsBet are offering parlay-able odds for outright, top 5, top 10, top 20, top 30, top 40 and to make/miss cut bets. This allows golf bettors to be more creative with their bets and a chance at a big payout just by combining players to make the cut or achieve certain finishing positions.

PointsBet has a specific tab for parlayable odds while FanDuel can do it automatically.

According to PointsBet, bettors have already started to get more creative with their golf bets, and it has been a popular feature so far.

This begs the question, is it going to be here to stay?

"We will be sure to keep an eye on these markets during the week, and if the demand is there, I could see us offering these kinds of markets again for future golf tournaments," PointsBet Trading Content Analyst Michael Korn told Action Network.

That is music to golf bettors' ears.

Parlays are considered square bets and are not recommended by professional bettors. However, that doesn't mean that people won't bet them. It will also make your Friday afternoon more interesting if you plan on parlaying players to make or miss the cut.
