Today's Best Bets, Expert Parlay Picks
NBA Best Bets
Action PRO is projecting 9.27 rebounds for Jaylen Brown in the Celtics’ matchup against the Spurs tonight, showing a massive 28.4% edge against his current prop line of over/under 6.5, which is strong enough to tag the Over with an A+ grade in our database.
Brown has recorded 7+ rebounds in 23 of his past 27 outings, while reaching 8+ rebounds in 16 of those contests.
NCAAB Best Bets
The America East top-seeded UMBC Retrievers are set to square off with the conference’s fourth-seeded UMass Lowell River Hawks in a conference tournament semifinal matchup.
The Retrievers posted an impressive 22-8 record on the season, having dismantled UMass Lowell in each of the team’s first two meetings (24 and 23 points, respectively).
Additionally, Retrievers head coach Jim Ferry leads one of the hottest teams in the country (they've won 13 of 14 contests with 11 straight victories).
Meanwhile, Lowell has been horrific defensively. Per KenPom, the River Hawks rank 315th nationally in defensive efficiency rating, a concerning metric prior to the third meeting with one of the hottest teams in the sport.
Between Lowell's poor form and lack of defensive prowess — on top of getting blown out twice in the regular season — Lowell winning this game outright would be pretty insane.
I expect the Retrievers to expose a mediocre Lowell defense and pick up an outright victory.
World Baseball Classic Best Bets
Italy is undoubtedly the most difficult matchup for the United States in Pool B.
However, there remains a massive talent gap between Italy and an American roster that's oozing with talent.
From a betting perspective, I'm not looking to over-complicate what should be another convincing victory for the United States.
I will be looking to back the United States to cover its run line in Tuesday’s Pool B clash.
Champions League Best Bets
The German powerhouse enters this contest as a heavy favorite, a status earned through a dominant continental campaign that includes seven wins in eight fixtures. Under manager Vincent Kompany, Bayern's attack was the second-most productive in the league phase of the tournament, scoring 22 goals. It also has scored in all 20 of its road matches this season.
The key to it all is Harry Kane, who has eight goals in just eight Champions League appearances this season. This matchup also favors a productive day for the striker as Atalanta has struggled to keep opponents off the scoreboard in Europe, posting just one clean sheet over five Champions League matches this season.
Kane is questionable after he missed the previous match, so you should confirm his status before placing this bet, but if he is on the field, the value is clear.
NHL Best Bets
Joel Hofer enters this matchup in excellent form. He has allowed two or fewer goals in each of his past four starts, posting a 4-0 record with a .962 save percentage and a 1.00 goals-against average during that span.
Like Ilya Sorokin, Hofer has also performed well against Tuesday's opponent. In two career starts against the Islanders, Hofer owns a .955 save percentage and a 1.48 goals-against average.
