The Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies are set to conclude their series tonight. Atlanta has slugged their way to taking two of the first three games in this series, but tonight, they may not need much as they get to hand the ball to their ace.
As for the Phillies, their lineup has been red hot as Trea Turner has shown why he was such a big signing this offseason. However, Philly has not had the best time against Strider, but are they poised to break the trend?

The Braves lineup has been tearing the cover off the ball all season long and this series has been no exception. Atlanta leads the majors in average exit velocity, barrel rate, and hard-hit rate, all by a wide margin.

Ronald Acuna has all but supplanted himself as the NL MVP; meanwhile, Matt Olson has already tied this Braves record for single-season homers with 51, and there are still two and half weeks remaining in the season.
It goes without saying that they will be a tough assignment for Phillies starter Cristopher Sanchez. However, Sanchez has been a revelation at the back of the Phillies rotation.
The lefty has pitched to a 3.26 ERA and is one of the best ground ball artists in the game. However, he may need to be perfect to limit the damage against the Braves order.
Despite hyping up the Braves lineup for what they've done this season, the Phillies have been the best offensive team in the National League over the last month. They have been on a power surge as their team slugging percentage is 32 points higher than the Astros', who rank second over in that same span.
The issue with tonight's matchup is that the Phillies will have to face the man who has been their kryptonite this season. The current Philly lineup has accumulated 97 at-bats against Strider, and the results have not been good.
They are hitting just .175 with a .299 slugging percentage while striking out 38.5% of the time. Strider has built that strikeout rate up in his two starts against Philly this season.
