Brit Devineās White Sox vs Rockies Preview, Prediction
In the battle of two of the worst teams in baseball, the books are not giving enough credit to White Sox starter Adrian Houser.
Houser has increased his velocity across the board compared to last season, and his results have improved dramatically.
Last season, he was one of the worst pitchers in baseball. While his ERA this season is a spectacular 1.90 in seven starts, even if he regresses from that (which he likely will), his new arsenal is significantly improved from the pitcher he used to be.
On the other side, we have one of the worst pitchers in the MLB this season on the mound for the Rockies, Antonio Senzatela.
This appears to be a significantly greater edge at starting pitchers than the books are offering. With both offenses being rather inept, I'm banking on Houser doing enough to keep the White Sox in the lead here to start the game.
I would play this to -135.
