Brit Devine’s Marlins vs Braves Preview, Betting Analysis
There is a lot of juice here, but I'm shocked we are getting a 1.5 line against Erick Fedde.
The Marlins' lineup might be watered down (as they play a doubleheader today), but even so, we have to attack Fedde.
The Braves starter has given up at least three earned runs in eight of his last nine starts, with at least three runs allowed in the first five innings of those eight games.
The Marlins have the 9th-highest team wOBA over the past 30 days and have more than enough offense to get it done against Fedde, who has really fallen off from his 2024 campaign.
I'm playing this to win 2 units, and if this moves to 2.5 runs, which it probably will, I would play it to +110.
Pick: First 5 Innings Marlins Over 1.5 Team Total (-160, DraftKings)
