MLB Home Run Picks for June 15

Ronald Acuna Jr. (+390)
vs. Rockies (SP: LHP Austin Gomber)

I'm going hard on the Braves today, as the spot is a great one, and the odds are far too high.
Rockies starter Austin Gomber is a splits-neutral pitcher who has been hit hard by both lefties and righties in his career, giving up 1.4 HR/9 to both.
Truist Park is good for hitting, and the weather is great, with high humidity, wind blowing out to left field, and temps in the mid-80s during game time.
The bullpen behind Gomber is one of the worst in the league, and this game could be a complete beat down for the Braves.
Ronald Acuna Acuna has been hammering the ball since returning from injury (seven home runs in 20 games entering Sunday), and the odds are far too high.

Matt Olson (+330)
vs. Rockies (SP: LHP Austin Gomber)

As I mentioned above, I love the spot for the Braves today another hitter I'm backing is first baseman Matt Olson.
Olson's been raking this season, with 14 home runs entering the Sunday finale. His Statcast page is lit up with a lot of red, with elite standing in key metrics like barrel %, hard-hit %, average exit velocity and more.
I have the true odds on Olson over 50 points lower, making this a good EV bet.

Mike Trout (+450)
at Orioles (SP: LHP Cade Povich)

Once again, I like a lot of Angels hitters against the Orioles.
The matchup is a great one today going up against Orioles left-hander Cade Povich, who has been a gas can for righty power in his career, allowing 1.59 HR/9.
Camden Yards is around average for righty power and the weather is only a slight downgrade for hitters.
All the righties are great power hitters with a ton of pop and and are completely mispriced. I have the true odds on Trout over 100 points lower making this a great EV bet.

Taylor Ward (+650)
at Orioles (SP: LHP Cade Povich)

Another right-handed Angels power bat to target is Taylor Ward.
Ward is tied for seventh in homers in MLB (18) entering the Sunday finale. An interesting to note about Ward's season is that he's thrived on the road — 13 of his 18 home runs this season have come away from Angel Stadium. He boasts a .936 road OPS but has just a .508 mark at home.
I have Ward's true odds around +500.
