Today, we will create a custom No Runs First Inning (NRFI) bet by analyzing the performances of two pitchers. This personalized bet can be crafted through sportsbooks such as DraftKings and Barstool. This NRFI bet is different from a traditional NRFI, as it combines two separate half innings from the first innings of two different games. This approach allows you to have a better edge and tailor the bet to your preferences.

Our first selection for today's custom NRFI features Freddy Peralta, the talented pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers. Peralta is having an exceptional season, holding a 13-3 record to the NRFI, and his home NRFI split is perfect at 9-0. Since 2022, Peralta's overall NRFI performance stands at an impressive 25-8.

Notably, Peralta has excelled in his batting order split this year, holding opposing teams' leadoff hitters to a .182 average with only eight hits in 44 at-bats. Against the Chicago Cubs hitters, Peralta has produced remarkable numbers, including Nico Hoerner (3-11), Ian Happ (1-19), Cody Bellinger (0-3), Dansby Swanson (0-8), and Patrick Wisdom (1-5).

Our second selection for today's custom NRFI is Eury Perez, the young rookie for the Miami Marlins. Perez has been outstanding to the NRFI this season, boasting a 9-1 record. His home NRFI record is perfect at 5-0. Similar to Peralta, Perez demonstrates a solid batting order split, limiting opposing teams' leadoff hitters to just a .185 average with five hits in 27 at-bats.

It's worth noting that Perez has never faced any of the St. Louis Cardinals hitters in his career, giving him an edge from unfamiliarity. The Cardinals are on an 8-2 NRFI run in their last 10 games. Perez is set to face at least two left-handed batters among the Cardinals' first four today, and he has held left-handed hitters to an impressive .188 average this year.

This custom NRFI selection is -154 on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Barstool Sportsbook provides a slight edge of -143.

As always, six outs to glory…
