Today, we will create a custom No Runs First Inning (NRFI) bet by analyzing the performances of two pitchers. This personalized bet can be crafted through sportsbooks such as DraftKings, BetMGM and Barstool. This NRFI bet is different from a traditional NRFI, as it combines two separate half-innings from the first innings of two different games. This approach allows you to have a better edge and tailor the bet to your preferences.

Our first selection for today's custom NRFI features San Diego Padres left-hander Blake Snell. This season, Snell has been in sensational form, boasting an impressive 15-5 NRFI record, including a dominant 8-1 record at home. This brings his overall NRFI record to an impressive 36-8 since 2022.

Snell's mastery on the mound is evident in his batting order split, where he has held opposing leadoff hitters to a mere .160 average, allowing only eight hits in 50 at-bats.

The lefty has dominated Pittsburgh Pirates hitters in the past, including Carlos Santana (who is 2-13 against Snell), Andrew McCutchen (0-9), Connor Joe (1-10), Nick González (0-2) and Jack Suwinski (0-1).

Our second selection for today's custom NRFI showcases Tampa Bay Rays ace Tyler Glasnow. This season, Glasnow has been equally impressive, owning a 9-1 NRFI record, improving his overall NRFI record to a remarkable 11-1 since 2022. Similarly to Snell, Glasnow excels against opposing leadoff hitters, limiting them to a .167 average in 30 at-bats.

Moreover, Glasnow has not faced the majority of these Miami Marlins hitters, which will work to his advantage today. The Marlins hitters he has faced, including Jorge Soler (0-2) and Jon Berti (0-2), have been held in check.
