Today, we will create a custom No Runs First Inning (NRFI) bet by analyzing the performances of two pitchers. This personalized bet can be crafted through sportsbooks such as DraftKings and Barstool.
This NRFI bet is different from a traditional NRFI, as it combines two separate half-innings from the first innings of two different games. This approach allows you to have a better edge and tailor the bet to your preferences.
For our first selection, we have one of the most impressive NRFI pitchers in baseball since his debut last season: Spencer Strider of the Braves.
This year Strider has compiled a stellar 10-4 NRFI record, bringing his total to an impressive 28-6 since 2022. When facing batters for the first time through the order, Strider has been highly effective, allowing just 22 hits in 114 at-bats, resulting in a .193 batting average.

Our second selection for today is Marcus Stroman of the Chicago Cubs.
Stroman has been exceptional to the NRFI this season, owning an impressive 13-2 record. Since 2022, his overall NRFI record stands at an impressive 34-6.
Stroman's proficiency shines through in his batting-order split, particularly when facing leadoff hitters. This season, he has surrendered a mere five hits in 41 at-bats, resulting in an impressive .122 batting average.
Directly against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Stroman has had success, notably against Andrew McCutchen (3-17), Ke'Bryan Hayes (1-8), Connor Joe (1-5), Jake Marisnick (0-3) and Carlos Santana (6-27).
