For my Monday MLB player props, I'll be looking into four hitters in Luke Keaschall, Brice Turang, Kerry Carpenter and Brenton Doyle.

Let's dive into my MLB player prop picks for games on Monday, August 11.

Keaschall got off to a hot start to his MLB career, but unfortunately, he suffered a non-displaced fracture in his forearm. He returned to the majors last week, and he hasn't stopped hitting.

Keaschall was hit by a pitch in the game that he was injured in. However, he has at least one hit in all 11 games of his career in which he's recorded an official at-bat in.

He has two hits in four of five games since being recalled. He's +150 for two bases and +275 for two hits tonight.

He'll face right-hander Will Warren, who's surrendering a .246 opposing batting average this season. Additionally, I like his chances if he gets an at-bat or two against the struggling Yankees bullpen.

I'm pairing him with Turang, who has a great matchup tonight. Turang is 4-for-5 against Andrew Heaney, despite the left-on-left matchup. Heaney has reverse splits, as left-handers are hitting .280 against him. Average wise, Turang isn't a noticeable downgrade against left-handed pitchers.

After not starting and drawing a walk in his lone plate appearance yesterday, Turang's seven-game hitting streak remains intact entering today, and I expect that it'll continue tonight.

Pairing him with Keaschall gives us a nice price on Fanatics.

Tigers vs White Sox Player Props: Carpenter Worth the Risk

Kerry Carpenter Over 1.5 Total Bases

Last Tuesday, I backed Carpenter for two total bases, and he cashed with two hits, including a double. Interestingly enough, that was the only game of the three-game set he didn't homer in.

After a pair of hitless games against the Angels, he got back in the hit column yesterday with a double and a home run.

Carpenter has five home runs in 12 games since returning from the injured list.

Another one may be in the cards tonight, as Carpenter has six of his 21 home runs and a 1.280 OPS against the White Sox this season. That includes a three-homer game in Chicago that was also the opening game of that series.

The White Sox are going with Elvis Peguero as an opener tonight. He has a career 1.46 WHIP, and left-handed hitters are hitting .333 against him in a limited sample.

A pair of options to follow him are left-hander Tyler Alexander and right-hander Mike Vasil.

One thing to keep in mind when backing Carpenter's props is manager A.J. Hinch doesn't often let him face left-handed pitching.

In that regard, Vasil may be the preferred option here, but Hinch likely wouldn't want to lose Carpenter after just one at-bat if Alexander is the choice.

Regardless, Carpenter has been hot enough to take the risk. He's cleared two total bases in four of his past six games. He's also +300 on ESPN Bet for a home run.

Rockies vs Cardinals Player Props: Big Offensive Night Expected

Brenton Doyle Over 1.5 Total Bases

After blasting 23 home runs and posting 4.0 WAR last season, Doyle has regressed significantly in his third season.

However, he's performed more like his 2024 campaign of late. Doyle has a hit in 12 of his past 14 games, and over the last two weeks, he's slashing .368/.400/.632 with three home runs and seven RBI.

Two of those home runs have come in his last two games against the Diamondbacks.

He has another great matchup today against Miles Mikolas and the Cardinals. Mikolas has been dreadful with a 5.11 ERA this season, and he's allowed 13 of his 21 home runs to left-handed hitters.

However, he's still allowed 22 extra-base hits, .a 282 batting average and a .804 OPS to right-handed hitters.

With Chase Dollander opposing Mikolas, this game may see a lot of runs on a hot night in St. Louis. I like Doyle to contribute given his recent tear. He has at least one hit/total base in each of his last five games and five total bases in each of his last two games.

He's also +700 for another home run tonight on BetMGM.
