Jeremiah Fears Over 12.5 Points
By Erik Beimfohr
It has not been a great start to the season for Jeremiah Fears, but the Kings are the perfect antidote for that. They have the second-worst defensive rating in the league (behind only the Suns), and I'd bet they end up last pretty soon.
In particular, their guard defense with Darius Acuff, Zach LaVine, etc. is laughable, and Fears has a 25.5% usage rate on the season. He has simply been woefully inefficient, which should change in this matchup.
Jordan Poole is also out, which could lead to a minor minutes boost for Fears in this spot.
Pick: Jeremiah Fears Over 12.5 Points

Ty Jerome Over 30.5 Points & Assists
Grizzlies vs Trail Blazers | 10 p.m. ET
By Bryan Fonseca
This should be an excellent game environment for Ty Jerome. We are trying to usher in "The Glitch" as his official nickname, which is undeniably better than his Basketball Reference-listed nickname of "Milk," because he has quite literally been an analytics darling.
Jerome ranks inside the top 10 in the NBA in EPM plus-minus, sitting right alongside names like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wembanyama, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, and Steph Curry. Whatever you want to call him, he is going to have a big night here.
Jerome's offensive usage is completely through the roof, and he is going to have plenty of opportunities to create against a Portland backcourt featuring Ja Morant and Damian Lillard.
What is truly jaw-dropping isn't just the sheer creation, but the shooting efficiency he is maintaining on this high volume. He is shooting 50 percent from the field, and that actually includes a rough 4-for-15 performance. He is also shooting 37 percent from 3-point range, which includes back-to-back games where he went a dismal 1-for-6.
You might not always get it the most efficient way every single night, but Jerome is putting up a ton of attempts with sky-high usage, and he is playing over 30 minutes per game.
On top of the scoring volume, he provides a high floor with his passing too. Jerome hasn't recorded fewer than five assists in a single game this year, tallying six dimes twice and eight dimes in another contest.
While it is a tight sample size and I certainly don't expect him to average 30 points and assists for the entire 82-game season, I would be shocked if he tailed off in this specific matchup. I'll back Jerome to clear this 29.5 PRA number.
Pick: Ty Jerome Over 30.5 Points & Assists
