This angle is so sharp that, despite the Sixers being 1.5-point underdogs in the game, they are -0.5 favorites per the consensus market for the first quarter and first half.
Home underdogs down 3-0 in a series are 26-16-1 (61.9%) ATS in the first half of Game 4. When the line is within two points of either team, the home team is 5-1 ATS when down 3-0.
The Knicks are strong in the second quarter, and this makes me nervous. But Philly is going to throw the kitchen sink at them here.
This is likely the Sixers' last home game of the season; their last real chance to get a win for the home crowd.

Teams facing a sweep, like the Sixers today, are 33-29-4 in the first quarter since 2003. The trends are weaker in the first half (23-18-1, 56% ATS), but still good enough to get me on board with Philly in the opening frames here.
However, that’s where the train stops. The Knicks are +19 in third-quarter net rating. I think we'll see them struggle in the first half, make adjustments, and finish the game and series in the second half.
I don’t see an angle on the full-game total, but I do think there’s value on the Knicks team total Over.
The Knicks are 5-1 to their team total Over in these playoffs when they win the game. Game 2 in this series was the only time it went under.
New York’s offense has looked comfortable all series against the Sixers. With Joel Embiid on the floor, they play drop coverage, which Jalen Brunson just feasts on. They can’t run anything else, and they can’t get Embiid off the floor.

If Embiid is a late scratch for whatever reason, my full-game cap goes out the window and I’ll like the Sixers at whatever the spread moves to (likely Knicks -3.5 or -4) and the Under.
It’s not that Embiid makes the Sixers worse; they’ve been better with him on the floor than on the bench. But if he doesn't play, the Sixers will play Adem Bona, switch everything defensively, and probably burn the starters to try and stay alive.
However, assuming that he plays, if you parlay Sixers 1H -0.5 and Knicks ML, you get a potential payout of +381. Lay the 1.5 on the full-game spread and you get +428 at FanDuel.
I think the Sixers know they’re outmatched. They needed to win Game 3 and couldn’t get it done; they just don’t have enough depth. I think Philly pushes hard in the first half and eventually runs out of reinforcements to end the series.

Edgecombe stayed under this line in Game 3 for the first time this series, but not because of chances. He went 1-of-5 from 3-point range last game.
I’ll trust the averages and the fact he keeps finding these opportunities.
Paul George Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made
I stayed away from Paul George's three-point props in Game 3 because PG’s home shooting splits in the playoffs had been dramatic… and then he cashed this in the first half.
He went 3-of-8 total, but I bet he gets a few more to drop here.
Karl-Anthony Towns Over 5.5 Assists
KAT has gone over this line in six straight playoff games, and every game in this series.
Towns really understands the mechanisms he can use to help his teammates get buckets, and the Knicks are putting him in positions to make those plays.
