Suns vs 76ers NBA Preview

Honestly, these have been two of the most enjoyable teams in the league to watch.

The Suns and 76ers are both punching above expectations. Phoenix, especially, with head coach Jordan Ott as a Coach of the Year candidate.

The 76ers won 113-104 against the Pacers last night, improving to 23-18, snapping a two-game skid, and jumping to fifth in the East, where they're now just 1.0 games behind the free-falling Knicks.

The Suns, 26-17 and seventh in the west, took care of the Nets in Brooklyn last night, winning 126-117.

Phoenix is now 12-5 in their last roughly one month of hoops.

The Suns, as of this morning, have a clean injury report with Jalen Green (hamstring) expected to play Tuesday. Jamaree Bouyea (concussion) was available to play last night against the Nets but was a DNPCD.

The 76ers will likely sit Joel Embiid (rest, maintenance) after playing the first leg of a back-to-back last night.

Embiid hasn't played a back-to-back since January 19 and 20, 2024 — literally two years ago.

Paul George (knee) sat last night, likely indicating he'll suit up tonight, barring a setback.

Suns vs 76ers Prediction, Betting Analysis

Adem Bona has been more of a beneficiary than credited in games Embiid misses.

Bona doesn't start, but he is averaging 24.3 minutes per game in his last seven without Embiid.

Bona has pulled down five or more boards in 7-of-8 games Embiid has missed.

There are some 5.5s out there, but 4.5 is my threshold. Of his recent seven overs, he got exactly five three times.

Pick: Adem Bona Over 4.5 Rebounds (-145)
