Reaves achieved this mark in four of five games with Luka Doncic and without LeBron James last season, and I expect this trend to continue.
I figure JJ will play them together sometimes, but he'll make sure at least one of them is always on the floor.
That creates staggered minutes where Reaves becomes the primary option for the Lakers.
Early in the season, when they shouldn’t push anyone too many minutes, this actually benefits Reaves — with Luka likely playing low-to-mid 30s minutes, Reaves gets at least 12 minutes to cook on his own.
This season, there are more scoring threats alongside them, even without LeBron, but most of these players still need facilitation.
Reaves is excellent at handling that responsibility.

Vanderbilt won't start despite LeBron James being out for this game.
However, I do think he should still be in line for 20+ minutes, as the Lakers can use him in a couple of different ways, including playing him at the center position to match up with the Warriors' lineups with Draymond Green at center.
I project Vanderbilt for 8.4 rebounds + assists in this game.
