My NFL pick for this game is on a Bijan Robinson player prop. Falcons vs. Panthers odds for NFL Week 15 have Atlanta listed as a 3-point road favorite on the spread with a game total of 33.
The Falcons are in a three-way tie — with the Buccaneers and Saints — atop the NFC South as they travel to Charlotte to take on the one-win Panthers. Atlanta defeated Carolina back in Week 1. Completing the series sweep is paramount in its quest to win the NFC South.
This game features two top-10 picks from the 2023 NFL Draft with Robinson (No. 8) and Bryce Young (No. 1). Suffice it to say, Robinson has enjoyed the better rookie season, but I'm pretty sure he won't be a huge factor in one particular aspect of the game on Sunday.

Falcons vs. Panthers Prediction
Last week, Desmond Ridder showed a glimpse of his ceiling when he threw for 347 yards and a touchdown. He did throw one interception, but this is an improvement from his previous games. Atlanta converts on third down over 40% of the time, but 1.62 points per drive leaves a lot to be desired.
Bryce Young and the Panthers offense has been less-than-stellar this year. They rank dead last in yards per play and pass yards per attempt, as well as 24th in rush yards per attempt.
Pro Football Focus has the Panthers’ pass-blocking unit rated as the third worst in the league, and their run blocking is not much better.

Atlanta has one of the better defensive units in the league, allowing just five yards per play and under four yards per rush attempt. The Falcons' pass rush forces pressure nearly 23% of the time, which is just about equal to their blitz frequency. The defensive unit struggles on third down, where they allow conversions over 45% of the time.
The Panthers defense is the best unit they put on the field. They allow 5.4 yards per play, 4.3 yards per rush, and they allow scores on only 34.2% of drives, which is 10th in the NFL. Their pass rush struggles to create pressure, which is fascinating when you consider that they blitz on nearly 30% of snaps.
Where the Panthers defense seems to excel is against screens and quick passes to running backs. They have allowed 455 receiving yards to running backs this year, the seventh-fewest in the league. Broken down by attempt, the Panthers allow 4.8 receiving yards per attempt to running backs.
Falcons vs. Panthers Predictions
Ridder will have plenty of time to get set in the pocket and go through his progressions. He won’t be forced to dump off the ball and it is unlikely that the Falcons choose this week to start drawing up multiple designed screens.
Falcons running backs like Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier will have time to shine in the run game, but I don't expect them to be much of a factor in the passing game.
