I'm not going to ambush you with a slew of facts that confirm what we all know — the Panthers’ offense is the worst in professional football.

Since I'm feeling the holiday spirit, I'll say a few nice things about Carolina's offense. For starters, the offensive line doesn’t allow the highest sack rate in the NFL! That title belongs to the Giants (the Panthers allow the fifth-highest sack rate). Also, Carolina's rush offense is middle of the pack, averaging 106 rushing yards per game. And that's about all of the positive talking points I can gather about Carolina's offense.

Carolina’s saving grace has been its defense. The Panthers allow the eighth-fewest yards per play, which shows that they can reduce their opponents’ explosive play ceiling. They have issues creating pressure (17.1% forced pressure rate), but still find a way to rank as one of the best pass defenses as they allow 6.5 yards per pass attempt.

Green Bay’s offensive statistics are pretty mediocre. The Packers find themselves in the middle of the pack in a lot of metrics, including yards per play and points per game. They do convert well on third down and protect Jordan Love as they surrender sacks on just 6% of dropbacks.

Defensively, Green Bay does a great job of creating pressure. The Packers' 24% pressure rate puts them in the top third of the league. When Bryce Young is pressured, he has the second-worst PFF offense grade, and the worst PFF passing grade.

If Green Bay can continue to get pressure, it will be a long day for Young and the Panthers’ offensive line.
