I have high hopes going into tonight that this will be the best Monday Night Football game of the season. The Bengals and Bills are elite and have a lot on the line as they fight for a first-round bye and home-field advantage in the playoffs.

Josh Allen may still be dealing with the lingering effects ever since his elbow injury vs. the Chiefs. Since Week 7, he has led all quarterbacks in interceptions (nine) and turnover worthy-passes (19) with at least two of the latter in seven of nine games, according to Pro Football Focus.

Despite not throwing an interception during Weeks 13-15, Allen still ranked fourth amongst all quarterbacks with five turnover-worthy plays, showing it was more luck than anything. To put it in perspective with interceptions, he ranked one turnover-worthy play higher than Mitchell Trubisky (three), Taylor Heineke (0), Brock Purdy (one), Derek Carr (four) and Dak Prescott (five).

Throughout the season, Josh Allen has thrown more interceptions in away games (eight) compared to home games (five), which is not good news for this matchup in Cincinnati. Oddsmakers have the game spread at 2.5, as of Monday at 3 p.m. ET, which is worth noting since Allen has thrown an interception in four of the Bills' six games decided by less than five points.

Allen's pass attempts line is 35.5, a total he's gone under in three of his last four games, but he'll likely have to do more damage in the air than he used to in his previous matchups. During the six games following the return of Bengals nose tackle D.J. Reader, the Cincinnati defense ranks 12th in Football Outsiders' Run DVOA.

Allen has been playing with fire lately and has been more careless than most with his passes. In a game that should feature two back-and-forth style offenses, I see it likely one of his throws will result in a turnover.

Pick: Josh Allen Interception — Yes (-130)
