Betting on NFL Anytime Touchdown parlays is incredibly fun even if they’re mostly a losing proposition that will drain your bankroll if you’re not careful. Most sportsbooks tend to clean up on this bet type so how do we scratch the “parlay itch” without overextending ourselves financially?

Allow me to introduce, “The 180 Challenge.” Here’s how it works:

Each week, I'll be betting a three-leg Anytime TD parlay that equates to +1800 or more at BetMGM. $10 per parlay ticket, $180 total for the season.

The goal is obviously to win as much as possible. BUT, the safety net is you only need to hit one parlay all season to make your money back. If you go 0-18 (which is unfortunate), the positive spin is it's only $180. This way, we can still participate with fun touchdown parlays while managing our bankroll and not going overboard on bad spending habits. So far, I’m 0-4 this season but only down $40 and we got really close in Week 3 with two of three touchdown scorers hitting.

Disclaimer: 18-1 parlays have less than a 5% chance of hitting. That percentage only shrinks as you increase the parlay odds. Keep your expectations in check and bet on these for recreation.

Here’s my Anytime Touchdown Parlay for Week 5 at +1994 at BetMGM:

Jaylen Waddle

Anytime Touchdown Scorer +120

Waddle has yet to score a touchdown this year, but he'll be in a great spot to secure his first against the Giants on Sunday. The G-Men play man coverage at a high rate, giving Waddle more room to find the end zone.

Plus the last time the Dolphins played in Miami, they put up 70 points. Even if they just get to 35 here, I like our changes for Waddle to score.

Gus Edwards

Anytime Touchdown Scorer +180

You may be thinking that Edwards only has one touchdown so far this season, and you'd be right. But he is the Ravens' main running back right now and has the same amount of carries as Lamar Jackson.

The Steelers run defense has been Swiss cheese through the first four weeks of the season, ranking in the bottom four in rush yards allowed. Edwards should get a few cracks at the goal line.

Rashee Rice

Anytime Touchdown Scorer +240

Rice caught a touchdown in Week 1 and is second on the team in targets behind Travis Kelce.

The Vikings pass defense is still on rookie mode in Madden, which isn't a recipe for success against Patrick Mahomes. Minnesota ranks bottom five in catches, yards and touchdowns allowed to wide receivers this season — Mahomes could be in line for a four-touchdown day.
