Rams vs. Panthers
Colby Parkinson had a nice emergence over the final month of the season with Tyler Higbee out. He had another high-usage game on Sunday, even with Higbee back.
The key there is that Davante Adams was out, and Adams will be back for the Wild Card round.
Adams and Higbee were available for the first 10 games of the season. Parkinson had just a 6.1% target share over eight games in that stretch (he missed two games with injury). He had a 23.5% route rate and averaged just 2.1 targets per game.
Parkinson won't be completely phased out, but I'd expect him to retreat to the supplementary mix that includes Tutu Atwell, Davis Allen, Terrance Ferguson, and the running backs.
Higbee himself isn't too far above that group, but he was the clear lead TE when healthy. Adams and Puka Nacua will obviously be the top two target earners.
Pick: Colby Parkinson Under 2.5 Receptions (-150)
Rams vs. Panthers
By Chris Raybon
Tommy Tremble is a big-time value play at over 6-to-1 odds. He's operating as the Panthers' lead tight end with Ja'Tavion Sanders on injured reserve. Tremble's pass snaps played skyrocketed to 88% last week, which was a season high.
If that figure holds in today's game, there's value at this price.
I don't expect a ton of fireworks from Bryce Young against a tough Rams defense, but the Panthers are double-digit underdogs and projected to be in a trailing game script. Tremble should be on the field no matter what in this game; he was top three in red-zone routes against the Buccaneers along with Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker.
Pick: Tommy Tremble Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+650)
Packers vs. Bears
This is an offense that has leaned on the run all season. The Packers rank 30th in neutral pass rate.
Even if you removed the game against the Bears when he left early, Jordan Love has averaged just 30.4 attempts per game.
It's going to be windy and snowy in Chicago this Saturday. I'm expecting a conservative approach from the Packers.
