The Action Network's proprietary betting algorithm has seven NHL contests tonight with at least a 10% betting edge.

The best bet algorithm edge of the day is Ducks vs. Rangers, which we wrote about earlier on Monday.

The other six games are:

  • Colorado Avalanche vs. Minnesota Wild (8 p.m. ET)
  • Florida Panthers vs. Boston Bruins (7 p.m. ET)
  • Los Angeles Kings vs. Detroit Red Wings (7 p.m. ET)
  • Winnipeg Jets vs. Dallas Stars (8:30 p.m. ET)
  • Arizona Coyotes vs. Toronto Maple Leafs (7 p.m. ET)
  • Vancouver Canucks vs. Washington Capitals (7 p.m. ET)

Essentially, a pick on all of these totals has at least a 10% discount in the marketplace.

One of the picks has as much as a 24.7% discount – Colorado vs. Minnesota. The most valuable picks are aligned above in descending order.

Over the long run, if you only bet on lines with at least a 10% betting edge, you're assured to make a profit. In the short term, of course, variance is a constraint.

The best way to maximize ROI is to bet on every game with at least a 7% betting edge – at the same unit size – for the rest of the season.
