The fourth and final major of 2019 has arrived.

The 2019 British Open begins on Thursday morning (first tee 1:35 a.m. ET) at Royal Portrush in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Portrush is basically an unknown commodity for most of the players in the field as it hasn't hosted this event since 1951. What we do know about the course is that it will check in at 7,344 yards for a par 71, so it won’t be overly long. Like most Opens, the weather will probably determine the difficulty. The early forecast appears to call for rain throughout the week which will lead to a softer course and aid scoring conditions.

Hometown hero Rory McIlroy is the consensus favorite to win the Claret Jug at 8-1 with Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson right behind him at 10-1. Jon Rahm is the third betting choice at 16-1 while Tiger Woods, who hasn't played since the U.S. Open in June, is at 18-1 and the only other golfer below 20-1.

As is always the case with majors, you can bet the 2019 Open Championship in a myriad of ways. From outright winners to first-round leaders to matchups, we’ve covered this tournament from top to bottom.
