Dodgers vs Rockies MLB Betting Preview

Tomoyuki Sugano will be on the mound for Colorado. I talked before about fading Sugano when he's pitching in Coors. He has actually been really good in the early days, but I do not believe it for one second.

With the Dodgers facing him in Coors, all of their home run prices were going to be juiced down to an insane degree, and that's exactly what has happened tonight.

Shohei Ohtani is at +225 to hit a home run tonight, which is just an insane number for anyone to hit a home run.

According to our director of research, Evan Abrams, given the Ohtani-ness of it all, it's not actually that crazy. Apparently, Ohtani was a minus-110 to hit a home run at Coors at one point last year, and he hit it.

Our PRO Projections give it a 7.7 % edge on Ohtani to hit a home run tonight. The next favorites are +520 and +680. That makes sense to show an edge, but for someone to be probably the lowest odds of anyone to home run on the board, and our PRO Projections still say "that's a good bet," his odds should actually be lower.

Dodgers vs Rockies Pick, Betting Analysis

We got to bet Ohtani in some way. I don't want to bet a +225 homerun, so let's go the whole nine yards and bet him to hit two home runs tonight.

If he's +225 to hit a homerun and there's value on the yes, you can get him to hit two homeruns tonight at + 2200 at Kalshi.

Pick: Shohei Ohtani 2+ Home Runs
