Today, we will create a custom No Runs First Inning (NRFI) bet by analyzing the performances of two pitchers. This personalized bet can be crafted through sportsbooks such as DraftKings and Barstool.

This NRFI bet is different from a traditional NRFI, as it combines two separate half-innings from the first innings of two different games. This approach allows you to have a better edge and tailor the bet to your preferences.

Our first selection for today's custom NRFI features Spencer Strider, the ace of the Atlanta Braves. Strider has had an impressive season, including a 12-4 NRFI record. Strider's overall NRFI performance since 2022 stands at an impressive 30-6. When facing batters for the first time through the order, Strider has been magnificent, allowing only a .206 batting average on 27 hits in 131 at-bats.

In previous matchups against Miami Marlins hitters, Strider has thrived, with notable performances against Jean Segura (1-7), Jorge Soler (1-4), Garrett Cooper (1-4), Jazz Chisholm (0-4), Yuli Gurriel (0-3),and Brian De La Cruz (0-3). Additionally, the Marlins have the third-worst first-inning batting average (.220) this season.

Tony Gonsolin of the Los Angeles Dodgers is our second selection for today's custom NRFI. Gonsolin has been impressive early on in games this season, with a strong 10-1 NRFI record. His overall NRFI performance since 2022 is an outstanding 31-3.

When facing batters for the first time through the order, Gonsolin boasts one of the best averages in baseball, allowing only 11 hits in 98 at-bats, resulting in a stellar .122 average.

Although Gonsolin has a small sample size against the Royals hitters, he has come out on top in matchups against Bobby Witt Jr. (0-3), Salvador Pérez (0-3), MJ Melendez (0-2) and Nick Pratto (0-3).

This custom NRFI selection is currently priced at a terrific -141 on DraftKings.

As always, six outs to glory.
