Bet Labs' Blue Jays vs Pirates Best Bet: Under Showing Value
By Bet Labs
This system capitalizes on an overlooked weather edge in betting MLB totals. It focuses on regular-season games where elevated humidity — ranging from 45 to 95 — intersects with moderate temperatures and neutral wind patterns. Despite assumptions that humidity boosts offense, public bettors are fading these conditions, which correlate with suppressed scoring in specific environments.
Overall, this system is 304-203-19 (60%) and has produced a 15% ROI. This season, the system has cashed 55% of its picks (94-78-7) and has generated a 4% ROI.
Pick: Under 8 (-110)
Kyle Murray's Cardinals vs Marlins Best Bet: Back Cabrera vs. Cardinals
By Kyle Murray
Edward Cabrera has been pitching very well lately, and that has translated to good strikeout production. He has six or more strikeouts in five of his past six starts and a 27.6% strikeout rate over the past 30 days.
Cabrera has struck out 26.8% of righties on the season and the Cardinals' lineup is projected to have five righties. As a whole, St. Louis' lineup has a 21.8% strikeout rate on the season against right-handed pitching.
Pick: Edward Cabrera Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-145)
Sean Zerillo's Mets vs Nationals Best Bet: Over/Under Projection Edge
By Sean Zerillo
There is rain in the forecast and high humidity (84% at gametime), which will result in increased ball flight to counteract the wind blowing in at 6-7 mph from right field.
Jake Irvin grades as a replacement-level starter (5.37 xERA, 4.76 xFIP, 7.7% K-BB%), and his velocity is down two mph since he made his debut (from 94.5 mph to 93.9 in 2024 to 92.3 in 2025). He's getting consistently shelled and performing worse as the season progresses. Since July 1, he has started eight games and has a 4.90 XFIP with a 3.3% K-BB%.
Meanwhile, David Peterson is struggling with command and has issued 12 walks over his past four starts (12.6% BB%; vs. 8% prior). There's also a significant disconnect between his ERA and xERA over the past two seasons:
2024: 2.90 ERA, 4.56 xERA, 4.10 xFIP, 4.54 botERA
2025: 3.30 ERA, 4.26 xERA, 3.68 xFIP, 4.50 botERA
I project this game at 9.64 runs, which gives me a 5.3% edge on the over at 8.5 runs. I'd bet this up to 9 runs.
Pick: Over 8.5 (-115)
Nick Galaida's Mariners vs Phillies Best Bet: Sanchez Should Keep Rolling
By Nick Galaida
The Mariners have had one of the toughest travel schedules in baseball over the past week. Last Thursday, they were forced to sit through an extended rain delay, which led to a very late exit from Baltimore en route to New York for their game the following day. On Sunday, they had to travel from New York to Williamsport for Sunday Night Baseball. Then, they had to travel to Philadelphia for a new series that began on Monday — all without a single off day.
Tonight, Seattle’s offense will have the added difficulty of facing Cy Young Award contender Cristopher Sanchez, who has been one of the league’s most efficient starting pitchers in recent weeks, averaging only 3.32 pitches per batter faced. This evening, he gets to face an aggressive Seattle lineup that ranks 22nd in wRC+ against southpaws over the past 14 days. Sanchez should have every opportunity to get through six innings.
Pick: Cristopher Sanchez Over 17.5 Outs (-174)
Chilly Bets' Dodgers vs Rockies Parlay Picks
By Chilly Bets
Tuesday night in Colorado is expected to be a high-scoring affair as the Dodgers take on the Rockies.
To start us off, we're taking Emmet Sheehan under 15.5 outs. He's gone under this mark in eight straight games and although the Rockies are one of the worst teams in baseball, their bats came alive last night against Yoshinobu Yamamoto. I anticipate their bats being successful once again tonight against Sheehan.
However, I'm also backing the Dodgers to bounce back after suffering a walk-off loss last night. The Dodgers are far superior to the Rockies, and it would be shocking to see them lose back-to-back games.
