The year's NBA champion could be decided on Saturday night. The New York Knicks hold a 3-1 lead over the San Antonio Spurs ahead of Game 5 in the 2025 NBA Finals. While they entered the series as underdogs, the Knicks have shocked the masses with a string of comeback wins and have a chance to close things out at the Frost Bank Center tonight.

The Spurs blew a monstrous lead in Game 4 and need to find a way to finish down the stretch. De'Aaron Fox and Victor Wembanyama stand out as key players to keep an eye on. Continue below for our NBA player props for Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Saturday, June 13.

NBA Player Props for Saturday, June 13

  •  De'Aaron Fox Over 6.5 Assists (+114)
  •  Victor Wembanyama Over 27.5 Points (-120)

De'Aaron Fox Over 6.5 Assists

It's clear that De'Aaron Fox is best suited as a distributor in this series.

Fox did contribute 18 points in Game 4, but has now shot worse than 40.0% from the field in three of his four NBA Finals outings. That's less than ideal for a player hoisting up 13.8 shots per contest.

Fox has taken the primary playmaking role from Stephon Castle and has now totaled 15 assists over his previous two contests. He leads all players in assists (25) in the Finals so far.

Scoring has not been a strength for Fox, but he's sure to play a vital role in an elimination game at home.

He's gotten better at picking apart the Knicks' stingy defense over time and can use that growth to dish out more than six dimes in a third straight contest.

Pick: De'Aaron Fox Over 6.5 Assists (+114, DraftKings)

Victor Wembanyama Over 27.5 Points

Victor Wembanyama has no choice but to be more aggressive than ever in Game 5 on Saturday.

Wembanyama slowed down tremendously after scoring 13 first-quarter points and benefiting from Karl-Anthony Towns committing two early fouls in Game 4. He can't afford to do that again in Saturday's win-or-go-home matchup.

Wemby has dropped to second in points per game (27.5) in the Finals thanks to Jalen Brunson's scoring surge at Madison Square Garden.

He's attempted at least 30 more field goals (85) than any other Spurs player and leads the series with 37 attempted free throws.

While his efficiency has dropped, you have to think that he'll eclipse his series average of 21.8 shots per game as his team's most lethal offensive weapon.

Scoring at least 28 points will be well within reach if his floor is him combining for 30 field goal and free throw attempts in Game 5.

Pick: Victor Wembanyama Over 27.5 Points (-109, DraftKings)
