As of Tuesday morning, Hurricane Delta has become a Category 2 hurricane with sustained winds of 110 mph, and could reach Category 4 status by the evening.

It's tracking to reach the Gulf of Mexico later this week, and landfall is projected for the Louisiana coast overnight Friday into Saturday morning.

Of course, once it reaches land, those wind speeds will drop down significantly, but they'll still certainly be enough to affect just about any college football game in the Gulf Coast region on Saturday.
