Adam Levitan: Bengals +3

"It’s by far the best bet of Week 1. I think the Bengals are the far better team and have a nasty defensive line. [Tyler] Eifert is healthy, mix in AJ Green and John Ross balling. They have a good secondary. I can’t believe the Bengals are a dog."

Peter Jennings: Titans -1

"This is a spot where I think Tennessee should be a field-goal favorite. I think they’re just a much better team. Dolphins have had a really weird offseason. We saw Andrew Luck more recently than we saw [Ryan] Tannehill."

Jonathan Bales: Niners +6.5

"I think [Jimmy] Garoppolo is so legit beyond what anybody else thinks. I think he’s a really good f*cking good quarterback if you look at what he did with really no weapons last year when he came in there. I love Garoppolo so I think 6.5 even on the road is too much."

Jonathan Bales: Vikings-Niners Over 46

"I still like the Vikings offense, and I think that game has an underrated chance to turn into a shootout."

Peter Jennings: Chargers -3.5

"Chargers have a nasty defense, and I think they’re healthier than people thought coming in. Defense is looking good, and I think the Chiefs’ defense is going to be absolutely terrible. I do think they’ll be able move the ball extremely well on offense with [Patrick] Mahomes, but this is his second NFL game on the road. 3.5 isn’t a great number, but I think the Chargers are the class of the AFC West."

Adam Levitan: Browns +3.5

"I think from a talent perspective the Browns are actually #good and Tyrod [Taylor] stabilizing the quarterback position makes a big difference."

Adam Levitan: Ravens -7

"I thought Nathan Peterman actually looked reasonably good in the preseason, but any quarterback will struggle in this spot with the weapons the Bills have and awful offensive line."

Peter Jennings: Seahawks-Broncos Over 42.5

"I do think the Broncos have a chance to have a really good defense. The [Bradley] Chubb addition was awesome. Seattle is going to be poor on defense. Seattle will struggle to run the football and they’re going to have a throw a ton, which will lead to more plays."

Jonathan Bales: Panthers -3

"The Cowboys stink. Their defense is awful and they have nothing on offense. They have no pass catchers and they’re really bad. I think they’re going to get killed in Carolina."
