The UEFA Conference League isn't the most prestigious European competition in the sport, but it's another opportunity for bettors to evaluate meaningful matches.
In a semifinal matchup where the winner will get to play the victor of the other semifinal between Roma and Leicester City, Feyenoord and Marseille will duke it out Thursday in their showdown on Dutch soil.
The first leg of the tie will be played in Rotterdam, while the second will take place in Marseille a week later.

Feyenoord Has Big Shot in New Competition
While the UEFA Conference League was only introduced this year to add another element of revenue for the organization, it does give clubs like Feyenoord a chance to secure direct qualification into the Europa League, something it could only do otherwise with a top-two finish in the Eredivisie.
And though Feyenoord would love to be pushing for a Champions League position, a Conference League title would allow the club to earn more money in the coming season. That's important, and with a wide open quartet of teams, Feyenoord will be hoping to do just that down the stretch.
The Dutch side got past Slavia Praha in a dramatic second leg that featured two second-half goals to secure progression into the semifinals, plus goal scoring has been a theme for Feyenoord of late.
It has amassed the second-most expected goals in the Dutch top flight this year, totaling two or more goals in seven consecutive games.
French Side Marseille Safe to Exert Effort
If the second-place French side wasn't in prime position to qualify for next year's Champions League, I'm not sure it would make sense at all to pay much attention to this competition. However, Marseille is six points clear of third place in Ligue 1 with only four games to play.
That's not a guaranteed top-two finish, but it's pretty close and the breathing room might afford Marseille a bit more of an ability to exert itself in Rotterdam.
Without that UCL berth, a title in this competition wouldn't mean much, but an added piece of hardware wouldn't hurt with that position in the bag.
As such, we can evaluate Marseille with an honest eye toward current form.
Betting Analysis & Pick
While I don't necessarily love a side to find a result in this game, I do like a play on the under when it comes to the total.
Though Feyenoord has been producing on the offensive end in recent outings, it has only averaged 1.54 xG per home game in the competition and Marseille sits at 0.5 xG/game on the road.
Both teams also have strong defenses, as evidenced by their respective 0.9 and 0.57 xGA averages overall in the Europa Conference League.
At a near Pick'em price, this under has serious appeal.
