Hawks vs Jazz NBA Preview, Predictions
I think it could be a really, really hectic, fun, back-and-forth game.
I'm going to take the Hawks to cover the spread. I get that Utah is rolling right now. They're everybody's new darling. They are 7-4 ATS and 5-0 against the spread at home.
However, this is an overreaction unless Atlanta is about to bench multiple starters here, which is always a possibility.
Utah put up 152 points a couple of days ago, but that was against a G-League team.
This is a friendly number, where I get a playoff-caliber team against an overrated, bloated Jazz team coming off a monster win in which they scored 152 points. That is such a fateful opportunity.
I'm not going to get my hand caught in the cookie jar. I've made a couple of bucks betting on the Jazz this year, but trees don't grow to the sky. You're not going to get rich betting on Utah.
