Happy Tuesday everybody! You know what that means, another King of the Court to be crowned at DraftKings.
All bettors have the chance to place one qualifying player prop wager on any NBA game tonight, and if that player leads entire slate in points + rebounds + assists this evening, DraftKings will divvy up $1 million in bonus bets and split it between all the people that placed their qualifying wager on that said player, even if your bet loses.
Let's get to our NBA King of the Court picks, props and predictions for Tuesday, January 13.

Nuggets vs. Pelicans
My favorite King of the Court bet for tonight is Jamal Murray.
Jamal Murray missed the Nuggets' last few games with an illness. However, with Nikola Jokic sidelined, I actually considered betting on Murray to record a triple-double in this game.
I bet it a few games ago ahead of the first contest that he missed — and while the illness might've been enough to make me refrain from sprinkling the triple-double prop in this spot, I'm not shying away from him in the King of the Court market.
Murray draws a great matchup tonight against a Pelicans' team that ranks top-12 in pace and bottom-4 in defense.
Obviously, Murray sees a large uptick in usage whenever Jokic is sidelined, but the volume stats that we've seen from him in his last two games are off the charts — tallying 16 assists and and 6 rebounds against Brooklyn, and then 17 assists and 8 rebounds against Boston.
The recent spike in usage rate hasn't quite turned into a huge increase in scoring volume yet, with Murray only scoring 27 and 22 points in those last two games. However, he is a player that can erupt for 40+ points on any given night. So, I'll back Murray to be our King of the Court in his return to the Nuggets' lineup tonight.
Pick: Jamal Murray King of the Court
Hawks vs. Lakers
It feels like the league is almost intentionally putting the Lakers on Tuesday slates for this exact purpose, as Luka Doncic will once again be our King of Chalk for this week.
LeBron James participated in the Lakers' 124-112 loss to the Kings last night. So, LeBron is now listed as questionable for Tuesday's contest, but given the fact that he played yesterday, it's fair to assume there's a pretty good chance he sits out on the second half of the back-to-back tonight.
I project Luka for a 40% chance of being our King of the Court. We call it the "King of Chalk" section because the potential payout for Luka usually rings in around $25, which isn't much fun. However, if LeBron sits out, Luka will have a stranglehold over this market in terms of projections.
Pick: Luka Doncic King of the Court
Trail Blazers vs. Warriors
I can't even imagine what the payout would be on this one, it should be massive it wins.
Plenty of King of the Court bettors are going to be keenly aware that the Trail Blazers will be without Deni Avdija in this contest, which frees up a huge amount of usage in Portland's offense.
However, I still think we'll see very few people burn their King of the Court token on Shaedon Sharpe, given the plethora of chalky options on the board such as Doncic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Victor Wembanyama, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and the list goes on.
When it comes to the King of the Court market, you either want to target guys that are capable of accumulating 50+ PRA or guys that have 40-point upside — and although the Blazers draw a tough matchup against the Warriors tonight, Sharpe very well may lead the entire slate in usage.
I could envision a scenario where Sharpe puts up 30+ shots in this game, and that's the type of upside you want to chase if you are looking for a long shot winner in this market.
