Bettors aren’t enthusiastic about betting the Tennessee Titans as underdogs at home against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football, but backing Derrick Henry is another story.
Over 80% of bets and dollars are on the road team, according to data released by BetMGM on Monday morning, yet Henry is the most popular player in the prop market.
The two most-bet props at BetMGM are on Henry scoring the first touchdown of the game and Henry scoring a touchdown at anytime. Henry to score the first touchdown in the game comes with +550 odds (bet $100, profit $550). The Titans running back scoring anytime in the game is expensive at -200 (bet $200, profit $100).
Henry has seven touchdowns on the year, but they’ve all come in just three games. He scored three times against the Seahawks in Week 2 and three more times against the Jaguars last week. He found the end zone once in a loss to the Jets in Week 4, but was held scoreless against the Colts and Cardinals.
Despite his scoring prowess, Henry has yet to score the first touchdown in a game this season.
The Bills are -250 on the moneyline to win the game outright. That line is up from the -200 opening number as 54% of moneyline bets and 80% of the handle is on Buffalo. But there’s a way bettors are trying to lock in a more favorable price.
The third most-bet prop at BetMGM is on Stefon Diggs scoring a touchdown at any time plus the Bills winning the game. Those odds are +100, making the payout even for the bet.
Diggs has just one touchdown grab on the year with the catch coming in Week 2 against the Dolphins. He was held to two catches on five targets last week in a 38-20 win against the Kansas City Chiefs.
