2019 WGC-Match Play Betting Cheat Sheet: Odds, Projections and Picks

One of the most fun golf events of the year is here.

The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play will feature 64 of the best players in the world playing one-on-one matches until a lone winner is crowned at the end.

If you’re unfamiliar, here are some details on the format:

• Players are split up into 16 groups. One of the top 16 players is assigned to each group, while the remaining three players are chosen at random from different segments of the field before the tournament begins. (That random drawing took place on Monday night.)
• The first three days feature round-robin matches between the four players in each group.
• The 16 winners of the groups advance to a knockout stage, and from there, it’s set up like your typical bracket
