The Cleveland Cavaliers head to Philadelphia looking to extend their winning streak to eight games. They'll meet a 76ers team that thrives at home both straight up and against the spread.

This will be the second meeting for both teams after the Cavaliers won in a blowout in late November. Let's take a look at how both teams matchup and where we can find value in the Cavaliers vs 76ers odds.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers head into the All-Star break playing their best basketball of the season. They have won seven games in a row and eight of their past 10. Cleveland is 15-8 SU and 14-9 ATS since the start of the new year. If you have been betting the Cavs during this winning streak, you have been reaping the benefits of their hot streak — they covered the spread in all but one game, Monday's matchup with the Spurs in which the spread closed at a season-high 15.5 points.

Over the past four month the Cavs are 11-5 ATS. What's even more impressive about that ATS record is the fact they have been doing it as favorites (10-4 ATS as favorites), laying an average of 6.6 points per contest.

Now, despite the hot streak, tonight the Cavs step up in weight class. During this seven-game winning streak the Cavs have only beat one team with a record over .500. That was the Memphis Grizzlies who are not in good form right now. This season, when the Cavs have faced one of the other seven Eastern Conference teams with a .500 or better record they are 10-7 SU and 9-8 ATS, but they are 2-5 SU and ATS when those games are played on the road.

During this winning streak, Cavs big man Jarrett Allen has really stepped up his game. Over these past seven games Allen is averaging 19.9 points per game compared to 14.0 points he was averaging prior. Allen is shooting 73% from the field and grabbing 11.4 boards per game in the month of February. Tonight he will have his work cut out for him against the MVP candidate Joel Embiid.

Philadelphia 76ers

It’s fair to say that the Sixers are contenders in the Eastern Conference. They may not be as good as the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks at full strength, but the 76ers are right there.

The 76ers come into tonight's nationally televised game winners of three in a row. Those wins were against the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, and Houston Rockets.

The 76ers have been one of the best teams in the NBA against the spread at home, as the third-most profitable team in that spot (19-10-1 ATS) according to Bet Labs. This season as home favorites the Sixers are 15-10 ATS, laying an average of 7.1 points in those games.

When these two teams met last, the Cavs were 4-point favorites and won the game by 28 points. James Harden and Tyrese Maxey missed that game for Philadelphia. Jarrett Allen was out for Cleveland. Regardless of who played, that was an embarrassing loss for the Sixers. That should weigh heavily on the mind of the 76ers in this nationally televised game.

Cavaliers-76ers Pick

Both teams should be at full strength for tonight’s game. Joel Embiid is listed as questionable but he is expected to go tonight.

These teams could meet in the playoffs later this season and I think the 76ers want to show the Cavs and the rest of the top teams in the East that they can protect their home court. In seven home games against teams with a win percentage of 60% or higher, the 76ers are 6-1 ATS this season. If Embiid plays I expect the 76ers to win tonight and snap Cleveland's streak.

Pick: Sixers -1.5
