Bulls vs Rockets NBA Preview
I’m going to be fading Nikola Vucevic, taking the under 32.5 points, rebounds and assists here. This number feels a bit inflated, and there’s a good chance we'll see it tick down toward 30.5.
The Bulls are expected to be shorthanded, with Josh Giddey and Coby White both out. But even without them, this is just a bad matchup for Vucevic against Houston.
The Rockets are pretty much the worst possible opponent for him in almost every category I’m looking at: points in the paint, total rebounds, and overall points, rebounds and assists.
All of the stats that are directly correlated to this play — point to Houston being a terrible matchup. Across the board, this is about as bad as it gets.
Then, you factor in the 12.5-point spread, and it’s easy to see a scenario where Vucevic misses some key minutes late in the game due to a potential blowout.

There are a lot of paths to Vucevic staying under his prop line here, even if the game stays close, but that added boost from a possible — and maybe even likely — blowout really helps this bet.
I have Vucevic projected closer to 28.5 points, rebounds and assists, which makes this number stand out.
Between the projection, the matchup, and the potential game script, I really like Vucevic under 31.5 PRA in this spot.
